Jeff has spent over 30 years in the music industry, and during that time he has worked in several different roles. This wealth of knowlege and experience allows for a unique and holistic approach to music education. Jeff believes that the ability to understand and appreciate every aspect of music helps aspiring professionals stand out from the rest.
Individual and classroom instruction is available. All curriculums are designed to provide extensive technical information as well as hands-on experience that mimics real-world situations. Students learn industry standard techniques and practices that prepare them for successful careers.

       Audio EngineeringLearn how to run live sound as well as engineer studio sessions. Topics include microphones, acoustics, signal flow, consoles, loudspeakers, editing, mixing, mastering, DAWs, processing, and much more. Students will experience a curriculum that is creative, technical, and hands-on.

       Post Production AudioLearn how to create and edit soundtrack audio for media. Topics include automatic dialog replacement (ADR), recording foley, dialog editing, SFX/sound design, and mixing. Students will learn industry standards that will prepare them for successful careers in the tv and film industries.

       Composing for MediaLearn how to write music for film, television, and other media formats. Many topics are covered including MIDI, virtual instruments, thematic development, orchestration, mixing, using samples and loops, and much, much more. Hands-on instruction provides opportunities for students to write cues for scenes and tracks for production music libraries.

       DrumsetStudents will experience a curriculum that combines technique, creativity, and feel. Topics include extensive rudiment study, multiple genres, soloing, reading, form, grooves, and more.
